* I've loved consumer marketing since a very young age (before knowing what it was, of course).

It wasn’t the “I want this!” kind of childhood pleading. It was brainstorming taglines for products I loved with my twin sister, laughing until our stomachs hurt. It was crafting my own little creations from basement scraps or whatever I could find in the wilds of Kansas City to make a product or good...and yes, it was writing a monthly neighborhood newsletter to share thoughts and ideas, grade school culture trends, and rally the kids for a donation entry kickball game.

Kind of weird? Definitely. But here we are, 10+ years later, doing pretty much the same thing—just with fewer basement scraps, more WiFi, and no more kickball (although, if you've got a solid team, count me in).
